Women there is nothing better in dating and relationships than finding that special someone whom you feel comfortable with. And knowing that the person feels the same about you.

It is a nice feeling to know that there is someone there for you through thick and thin. It is nice to know that they will put up with you in the good and bad.

But when the relationship gets to this point we have to make sure not to take our partner for granted or let them do the same to you.

The truth is most women know better than men the importance of family and where it ranks. They may not practice it, but know. Women know that God is first and family is second. Anything else is a distant third.

It is important to remember this, because we get so much advice from others on what to expect in a relationship. The truth is we can get all of the advice in the world, but the only way we are going to find out what will happen is to live the experience.

I mean most women have put up with us watching football for five months so one day of appreciation is not asking much.

For years the problems arose, because the man was supposed to support the woman while she took care of domestic matters. With women becoming more and more independent the landscape has changed. Women today have their own money. Many of you do not need the support of a man to survive. Heck, you don’t even need a man to pay your way on a date. Many times you would rather pay your own way in dating and relationships.

Women put up with men, their quirks and their habits in dating and relationships all of the time. It may not be easy, but they do. And they should, because men put up with their quirks and habits as well. If you can’t live with a person’s quirks and habits then you can’t live with them.

As long as the quirk or habit is not harmful, offensive or vulgar let him do it. Who knows? You may get lucky and he will outgrow it. 

Men are creatures of habit. We are most comfortable in situations that we are familiar with.
